The story of James’ grandfather Tim Foster during the first world war.
The book is composed of Tim’s letters home to his sweetheart Pollie Pannell, together with photographs that he took and developed in Egypt and Palestine, and all sorts of ephemera from his time helping to build the railway across the Sinai desert to become the first English station master at Jerusalem.

When Mary is next in, I would like to order 4 copies of this book. One is for the Mayhers. Before you ship I may have more to add to the order.
